The agreement

These terms are the agreement between you and Vybemo for using the Vybemo app and this website. Vybemo is operated from India. By creating an account you accept these terms, the community guidelines and the privacy policy. If you do not accept them, do not use Vybemo.

Who can use Vybemo

• You must be 18 or older.
• You must give accurate details, including your date of birth.
• One person holds one account.
• You cannot join if we have removed you from Vybemo before.

Your account

Keep your password and your one time codes to yourself. You are responsible for what happens on your account. If you think someone else is using it, write to hello@vybemo.com straight away.

Your content and the licence you give us

You keep ownership of your photos, captions, comments and everything else you post. We do not claim it.

To run the app we need your permission to handle it. By posting, you give Vybemo a non exclusive, royalty free licence to store, resize, copy and display your content inside Vybemo, to the audience you chose. That includes showing a fit in feeds, in city battles, on the style map at area level, and inside a chat when someone who can see it shares it.

• The licence covers showing your content inside Vybemo. It does not cover advertising.
• The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we must keep as evidence in a safety report or because the law requires it.
• You confirm that the photo is yours to post, that you are the person in it, and that anyone else who appears in it has agreed.

The rating rules

Rate the outfit, not the person. A rating on Vybemo is an opinion about what someone put together: the pieces, the fit, the colours, the idea. It is never a score for a body, a face, skin, weight, height, gender, caste, religion or background.

• You rate out of 10 by pressing and holding the fit, then sliding. One rating per fit.
• You cannot rate your own fit.
• A fit is scored 48 hours after it is posted. That score is final. People can still rate the fit afterwards, and a rater can change their own rating.
• The crowd average is private to the person who posted. In public a fit shows only a word. A rating is the opinion of the community and says nothing factual about anyone.
• Do not rig ratings, points or city battles. That means no second accounts, no trading votes, no organised voting groups and no automated tools.

Points

Points are a record of how accurately you rate. They have no money value. They cannot be bought, sold, transferred, gifted or cashed out, and they cannot be exchanged for goods or services. We may adjust or remove points that were earned unfairly, and we may change how points are earned.

Acceptable use

There is no tolerance on Vybemo for objectionable content or abusive users. The community guidelines define what that means and are part of these terms. In short, do not post or send:

• Nudity or sexual content.
• Anyone under 18, in any photo, for any reason.
• Photos of other people without their consent, or private information about anyone.
• Harassment, body shaming, hate, threats or doxxing.
• Spam, scams, advertising or selling.
• Impersonation, or AI generated people presented as real.
• Anything illegal in India.

Do not scrape Vybemo, copy other people's content out of it, probe it for weaknesses or interfere with how it runs. Messages to people you are not connected with are limited by design. Do not try to get around those limits.

Moderation and removal

We review reports and act on them. We may remove content, send a warning, restrict messaging, disable a group room, suspend an account or close it. Where we reasonably can, we tell you why. Automatic filters also block some words and links in messages.

Our staff do not read chats. The exception is the evidence snapshot attached to a report, as described in the privacy policy.

If you think we got a decision wrong, write to hello@vybemo.com from the email address on your account. A person looks at it again.

Reporting

You can report a fit, a message or a whole chat from inside the app, and you can block anyone. Reporting a message request also declines it. If you cannot use the app, write to grievance@vybemo.com. Content that sexualises or endangers a child is covered by our child safety standards.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile, then Settings, then Delete account) or through the delete your account page. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that puts other people at risk, or where the law requires it.

No shopping

Vybemo is social only. There is no shop, there are no links to buy and there are no affiliate links. The brand and other details on a fit are information from the person who posted it. A shopping bag is a post about something a person bought, not a listing. We do not check them and we do not sell anything. Whatever you buy elsewhere after seeing it here is between you and that seller.

The app is provided as is

We work to keep Vybemo running, but we cannot promise it is always available or free of errors. Content on Vybemo comes from the people who post it. We do not endorse it and we are not responsible for it. Features can change or be withdrawn.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Vybemo is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for what other users post, say or do. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that cannot be limited under Indian law, and nothing here takes away rights you have under consumer protection law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If the change is important, we tell you in the app.
